Hospital Funding Threatened By Greg Abbott Over Doc's TikTok
On November 1, a new executive order went into effect requiring Texas hospitals that accept Medicaid or Children’s Health Insurance Plan to ask patients if they’re US citizens. The question now appears on intake forms at hospitals across the state, the San Antonio Express-News reDr. Tony Pastor, a cardiologist at Texas Children’s Hospital and assistant professor at Baylor College of Medicine, went on to post a TikTok on November 11 telling patients they’re not obligated to answer the question. The video went viral, garnering more than one million views.
“Hey Texas Children’s Hospital & Baylor College of Medicine this doctor is putting your Medicaid & Medicare funding at risk,” Abbott wrote on X, sharing a link to an Express-News article that reports on Pastor’s video.
Nothing says compassion like a good old fashion Mafia threat. That's a really nice hospital you have there. It would be a real shame if something happened to it.

Laura Ingraham: Trump Makes It Cool To Be Openly Racist And Homophobic Again
Fox News will glorify Trump in every way possible.
INGRAHAM: But I still think America is feeling more hopeful this holiday.
People are breathing a sigh of relief.
They can actually speak their minds and not worry, perhaps, about getting fired or getting penalized or getting canceled.
And isn't it time to stop fighting and start having some fun?
In June of 2015 when Donald Trump descended that golden escalator announcing his campaign his speech was an openly racist screed aimed at Mexicans. That moment allowed racism and hate to bleed into the mainstream with few consequences.
Today more than ever the media is normalizing and enabling Trumps' worst personal traits.

Tulsi Gabbard’s history with Russia is even more concerning than you think
One expert says her views are ‘so wildly fringe that her potential appointment as DNI is genuinely alarming’
In the summer of 2015, three Syrian girls who had narrowly survived an airstrike some weeks earlier stood before Tulsi Gabbard with horrific burns all over their bodies.
Gabbard, then a US congresswoman on a visit to the Syria-Turkey border as part of her duties for the foreign affairs committee, had a question for them.
“How do you know it was Bashar al-Assad or Russia that bombed you, and not Isis?’” she asked, according to Mouaz Moustafa, a Syrian activist who was translating her conversation with the girls.
Consider that last sentence for a moment. Tulsi Gabbard tried gaslighting those three Syrian girls into believing that ISIS which has no air force bombed them causing their injuries. When, they and translator knew that it was Russian aircraft that had carried out the attack.
After the Syrian government used chemical weapons against its own population Gabbard said this:
They included a suggestion that Syrian rebels staged a false-flag chemical weapons attack against their supporters to provoke Western intervention against Assad — something the US intelligence agencies she will soon lead had concluded was false. She declined to call Assad a war criminal when pressed, despite masses of evidence, and used a video of Syrian government bombings to criticize US involvement in the war.
The text of the 2004 law which established the Office of the Director of National Intelligence in the wake of the 9/11 terror attacks on New York and Washington and the intelligence community’s failures leading up to the US invasion of Iraq, specifically states that any person who serves in the DNI job “shall have extensive national security expertise.”
Under the most lose interpretation of that law Tulsi Gabbard doesn't meet the qualifications to be confirmed as DNI.

Here's An Incredibly Stupid Question
A group of people (men) are marching down a street wearing identical clothing, masks and carrying Nazi flags. What side of the political spectrum would you say this group falls on? Please don't think to hard and this isn't a trick question.
After years of anti-Trump coverage under Jeff Zucker, CNN is also effecting course-correction. Last week, the cable news giant’s Dana Bash said it was unclear whether a group of men carrying swastika flags marching in Columbus, Ohio, belonged to the far right or far left.
“A group of neo-Nazis paraded through that city wearing, waving swastikas, covering their faces,” Bash said. “We don’t know what side of the aisle this comes from. I mean, typically neo-Nazis are from the far right.” The statement immediately attracted ridicule for its seemingly bizarre attempt at neutrality.
The above paragraph comes from an article concerning the changing media landscape with the reelection of Donald Trump.
Nazis fall on the right side of the political spectrum.

Texas schools can now teach Bible-based reading lessons
The Texas State Board of Education on Friday approved a controversial, Bible-infused curriculum for public school students in kindergarten through fifth grade.
Texas schools will not be required to use "BlueBonnet" curriculum, which includes lessons from the books of Genesis and Psalms, as well as the New Testament, but will receive extra funding if they do.
The board's narrow vote of 8 to 7 marks the latest move by Republicans to incorporate Christian teachings into schools nationwide. Four Democrats and three Republicans voted against using the curriculum.
Supposedly they won't be required to teach the Bible based curriculum. This sentence tells a very different story: but will receive extra funding if they do. Given that financial insensitive schools lacking financial resources will sign. Will they accommodate non Christian students? History shows they will not.
Texas isn't the only state bringing religion into public schools.
Louisiana Gov. Greg Landry sign a bill into law in June requiring all public schools to post copies of the Ten Commandments in every classroom.
That law has been blocked by the courts.
Louisiana’s plan to make all of the state’s public school classrooms post the Ten Commandments remains blocked under an order Wednesday by a federal appeals court in New Orleans.
The 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals rejected a state request to temporarily stay an earlier order by U.S. District Judge John deGravelles in Baton Rouge while litigation continues. DeGravelles ruled that the law, which the Republican-dominated Legislature passed earlier this year, was “overtly religious” and “unconstitutional on its face.” He also said it amounted to unconstitutional religious government coercion of students, who are legally required to attend school.
Oklahoma amends request for Bibles that initially appeared to match only version backed by Trump
The request is part of State Superintendent Ryan Walters’ efforts to require Bibles in public school classrooms, which has been met with resistance by some of Oklahoma’s largest school districts.
Walters, in a Monday video on X, said the Bible will be used “because of its historical significance throughout this nation’s history,” blaming what he called the “fake news media” for lies about the program.
“The left-wing media hates Donald Trump so much, and they hate the Bible so much, they will lie and go to any means necessary to stop this initiative from happening,” Walters said.
In the 19th century manifest destiny (Christin beliefs) was used as a justification for slavery and the wiping out of Native Americans as North America was meant to be ruled by white Christians.

Trump's Attorney General Pick Withdrawals From Consideration
Matt " I didn't know she wasn't 18" Gaetz has withdrawn from consideration to be appointed the next Attorney General after further details were uncovered about his sexual encounters with an underaged girl.
Former GOP Rep. Matt Gaetz is withdrawing from consideration as President-elect Donald Trump’s attorney general, he said in a post on X Thursday.
The former Florida lawmaker said he made the decision after meeting with senators Wednesday.
“While the momentum was strong, it is clear that my confirmation was unfairly becoming a distraction to the critical work of the Trump/Vance Transition,” Gaetz wrote. “There is no time to waste on a needlessly protracted Washington scuffle, thus I’ll be withdrawing my name from consideration to serve as Attorney General. Trump’s DOJ must be in place and ready on Day 1.”

Joe Scarborough Defends Trump Reconciliation: 'We’re All Working Towards A Better America'
Following Trump's election in 2016 Joe Scarborough went to Trump tower hoping to be appointed to a cabinet position in January 2017 when Trump took office. Like Mitt Romney Trump humiliated Scarborough for begging to be a member of his administration.
With that Joe and his wife Mika used Morning Joe for the next 8 years to criticize his behavior and policies. As Trump has won reelection Joe and Mika have reboarded the Trump train hoping they'll be rewarded for humiliating themselves at Mar-a-Lago.
Clearly Joe people do understand the difference between the real world and the fantasy world you and Trump live in.
The “Morning Joe” co-anchor dismissed his critics, saying there is a “massive disconnect” between “social media and the real world.”
“Morning Joe” co-anchor Joe Scarborough has responded to the criticism that followed his meeting with Donald Trump at Mar-a-Lago, saying there is a “massive disconnect” between “social media and the real world.”
Scarborough and co-host Mika Brzezinski, who have been some of the most vocal cable-news critics of Trump in recent years, said Monday that they’d sat down with the president-elect at his Florida estate three days earlier, and agreed to “restart communications.”

CNN Host Rips Ryan Walters' Quest To Turn Schools Into Bible Study Classes
Ryan Walters acts like a MAGA blow up doll of lies and misinformation.
Evangelical quack Ryan Walters got a taste of reality from CNN's Pamela Brown, who exposed his ludicrous plans to put a Trump Bible in every classroom while Oklahoma is ranked 48th out of 50 in education in the country.
Brown had to constantly correct his lies about the Founding Fathers and his attacks against the ACLU and Southern Poverty Law.
"We have to get back to teaching American exceptionalism, American values, where those things came from" Walters whined.
These people all have American and religious values. Donald Trump, Kristi Noem, Pete Hegseth and Newt Gingrich who cheated on their spouses. Then there's Matt Gatez who was alleged to have been in child sex trafficking. "True American values."
Trump confirms he is prepared to declare national emergency to implement deportation plan
President-elect Donald Trump confirmed in a post on Truth Social on Monday that he is prepared to declare a national emergency as part of his plan to deport migrants in the United States at a large scale.
CNN reported over the weekend that Trump’s team is evaluating a national emergency declaration to unlock Pentagon resources and tailoring that declaration to pave the way for expanding detention space.
In his first term, Trump declared a national emergency on the border with Mexico to circumvent Congress and use Pentagon funds for his border wall—a move that was faced with numerous lawsuits.
Trump’s mass deportation plan would be ‘economic disaster’ for US
If elected, Donald Trump plans to carry out “the largest deportation operation in American history”. After pushback on Joe Biden’s border policies, Kamala Harris has embraced border restrictions and the need to maintain limits on asylum seekers. But neither candidate captures the realities of US immigration.
US consumers are accustomed to cheap goods and services, and the economic rationale for large-scale immigration has been largely avoided. In a country that relies on a mobile, low-cost workforce, the loss of migrant workers would trigger productivity losses and a new round of inflationary pricing pressure.
Remember that migrants perform jobs that most Americans find beneath them.

Trump Insiders: Hey, Don't Say 'Camps,' We Sound Like Nazis!
Oh, poor widdle fascists! We is hurting their fee-fees!
Think of them as spas -- or at least, airport lounges! Via Rolling Stone:To be sure, Trump’s migrant expulsion program, if he were to follow through with his plans to deport millions, would require massive new camps — something that Trump’s top policy-hand has explicitly told reporters. But openly describing these camps as “camps” invites supremely negative historical comparisons.
Some top Trump advisers get so annoyed when the media refers to his publicly detailed immigration-crackdown plans as including “camps” that they’ve cautioned the president-elect’s allies and surrogates to stop using the word “camps” during the current presidential transition, according to two sources familiar with the situation.
“I have received some guidance to avoid terms, like ‘camps,’ that can be twisted and used against the president, yes,” says one close Trump ally. “Apparently some people think it makes us look like Nazis.”
Why not call them "summer recreation resorts." At least it doesn't sound like you're going full Nazi. While going full Nazi.

Trump's Targets Are Getting Passports In Order Over His Vow Of Revenge
“I feel like I’ve stepped through the looking glass."
The Washington Post reports:
A retired U.S. Army officer who clashed with senior officials in Donald Trump’s first White House looked into acquiring Italian citizenship in the run-up to this month’s election but wasn’t eligible and instead packed a “go bag” with cash and a list of emergency numbers in case he needs to flee.
A member of Trump's first administration who publicly denounced him is applying for foreign citizenship and weighing whether to watch and wait or leave the country before the Jan. 20 inauguration.
And a former U.S. official who signed a notorious October 2020 letter suggesting that emails purportedly taken from a laptop belonging to Hunter Biden could be Russian disinformation is seeking a passport from a European country, uncertain about whether the getaway will prove necessary but concluding, "You don't want to have to scramble."
I believe Donald Trump when states he will get retribution against his perceived enemies.

Robert Kennedy Jr. Nominated To Head HHS
In the late 1990's a study was published that purported to show a link between vaccines and autism. That study which has been completely debunked was latched onto by the likes of Jenny McCarthy and Robert Kennedy Jr. Given their high public profiles people bought into what they were selling. Which was debunked science. The doctor responsible for the study lost his medical license.
However that hasn't stop the conspiracy theory that continues to grow around the idea that vaccines cause autism.
(The first link leads to the explanation for how the study was debunked.)
During his presidential campaign, Kennedy developed a national profile for his criticism of the Covid vaccines and childhood immunizations.
President-elect Donald Trump on Thursday picked Robert F. Kennedy Jr., an anti-vaccine activist who dropped out of the 2024 presidential race and endorsed Trump, to lead the Department of Health and Human Services.
Trump made the announcement on his social media platform, Truth Social.
"I am thrilled to announce Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as The United States Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS)," he wrote. "For too long, Americans have been crushed by the industrial food complex and drug companies who have engaged in deception, misinformation, and disinformation when it comes to Public Health."
JKK Jr. is going to destroy health in America as we know it. Leeches and bleedings will once again be considered the cutting edge of healthcare thanks to him.
Tuberville Abdicates Position: Threatens GOP Senators For Matt Gaetz
How stupid is this man?
Within the US Constitution, we have a nomination process for cabinet positions. I'll even use the Heritage Foundation for lamebrain Tommy, so he may better understand his actual fucking job.
The appointments clause of the Constitution specifies that the president shall nominate, and by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, shall appoint Ambassadors, other public Ministers and Consuls, Judges of the supreme Court, and all other Officers of the United States, whose Appointments are not herein otherwise provided for, and which shall be established by Law.
If the Senate Republican leader John Thune caves to Trump's wish of circumventing the nominating process and allows for recess appointment which are allowed the Senate would no longer be an independent legislative body.

Trump picks far-right congressman Matt Gaetz as attorney general
Controversial Florida congressman tapped for one of most powerful positions in US government
Donald Trump said he will nominate Florida congressman Matt Gaetz to be the US attorney general on Wednesday, tapping a far-right loyalist to one of the most powerful positions in US government.
Gaetz’s nomination is one of the most significant to date. As attorney general, he would be the country’s chief law enforcement officer and oversee the legal positions that the government takes on key issues, including abortion, civil rights laws, and first amendment issues. The president-elect has pledged to use the justice department to prosecute his political enemies and there is little doubt that Gaetz will help him fulfill that pledge.
First elected to Congress in 2016, Gaetz represents a ruby-red district in the Florida panhandle and has become known as one of Congress’s most showboating members. He reportedly sought a pardon from Trump over his efforts to overturn the election, and has embraced conspiracy theories about the attack on the US Capitol. Last year, he led a successful effort to oust fellow Republican Kevin McCarthy from the speakership, throwing his caucus into chaos.
As part of its ongoing investigation into Rep. Matt Gaetz, the House Ethics Committee recently issued a subpoena for documents from a civil lawsuit brought by one of the Florida congressman's longtime friends against several third parties, ABC News has learned.
The subpoena, which has not been previously reported, requests all documents related to Gaetz that are part of a lawsuit brought last year by Gaetz's longtime friend, prominent Florida lobbyist Chris Dorworth, who alleged he was defamed by several third parties over the course of the yearslong sex trafficking probe into Gaetz, sources told ABC News.
Gatez has been accused of sex trafficking a minor.
