Following Trump's election in 2016 Joe Scarborough went to Trump tower hoping to be appointed to a cabinet position in January 2017 when Trump took office. Like Mitt Romney Trump humiliated Scarborough for begging to be a member of his administration.
With that Joe and his wife Mika used Morning Joe for the next 8 years to criticize his behavior and policies. As Trump has won reelection Joe and Mika have reboarded the Trump train hoping they'll be rewarded for humiliating themselves at Mar-a-Lago.
Clearly Joe people do understand the difference between the real world and the fantasy world you and Trump live in.
