Patrick Soon-Shiong the billionaire of The Los Angeles Times blocked that papers editorial board from endorsing Vice President Kamala Harris. In response Mariel Garza, head of the Times editorial board resigned.
Today The Washington Post published an editorial stating that billionaire owner Jeff Bezos had ordered the paper to endorse no one. With their masthead stating that democracy dies in that dark how is not endorsing a candidate helping the country?
Sitting on the sidelines helps no one. Except Mr. Bezos, whose company Amazon has government contracts and would really like to see his bank accounts increase in size.
