If all phases of the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas are successfully implemented, the issue of what happens in Gaza "the day after" looms large. A US proposal to displace the territory's population has been widely rejected by Gaza's neighbours, and international bodies are discussing alternative options to rebuild its shattered infrastructure, which it's estimated will cost more than 53 billion dollars. Arab leaders gathered at a summit in Saudi Arabia to discuss plans to reconstruct Gaza, while allowing its population to remain.
